Mr. Kerr began college at the age of fifteen, bypassing his junior and senior years of high school. Mr. Kerr graduated from a small, but highly regarded liberal arts college at the age of seventeen, Bard College of Simon’s Rock, with an Associate of Arts degree.
After taking a year off, Mr. Kerr attended Syracuse University on an academic scholarship. At Syracuse, Mr. Kerr achieved a G.P.A. of 3.86 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, at the age of twenty.
After taking a few years off to travel abroad and work, Mr. Kerr attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law on academic scholarship. While in law school, Mr. Kerr worked as an intern at the American Civil Liberties Union.
At the conclusion his time in law school, in 2004, Mr. Kerr took a prestigious position at a sixty-five attorney law firm in Pittsburgh, where he spent almost four years as a commercial litigation associate.
In 2008, because of a desire to relocate, Mr. Kerr left his job at the law firm in Pittsburgh and found a job at a boutique law firm in Seattle, which specialized in construction litigation. In 2010, Mr. Kerr started his own practice, The Kerr Law Firm.

Benjamin D. Kerr, Esq. is admitted to the Washington Bar and the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
He is also admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Kerr has extensive experience advising clients in a wide variety of practice areas including contract drafting, negotiation, and review; entertainment law; business formation; intellectual property; real estate; landlord/tenant law; corporations and partnerships; and wills and estates. He has represented individuals; small businesses; and corporate entities in state and federal courts, and arbitrations on a wide variety of commercial and civil litigation matters. He has litigated claims in state and federal courts and in multiple arbitration venues. Mr. Kerr also has represented clients in a variety of industries in breach of contract, construction, insurance coverage, and other commercial disputes.
